Växjö municipality has a strong focus on sustainability and has been awarded the title "Europe's greenest city"
and recently also the European Green Leaf Award 2018. Because the city's dedication to sustainability and interest in innovation,

Växjö taxi is Växjö's oldest taxi company. They were also the first taxi company in Växjö to add a Tesla to their
taxi fleet, to lower their ecological footprint. The company is also getting a "Safe Green Taxi" certification from
the Swedish Taxi Union.
Växjö taxi will equip a number of their taxis with iFleetsense systems.
Pointguard is an innovation company that has worked with products for vehicles for over 40 years, mainly roof signs
and other products to be mounted on the taxi roof. In later years the company has focused more and more on digital,
connected products like smart displays.
Pointguard is co-funding the Växjö pilot project, develops and markets the iFleetsense system together with Upwis.
Upwis is specialized in technical applications and systems and develops bespoke sensor solutions and communication
solutions for the internet of things. The founder Kjell Brunberg has worked with electronics development since the late
70ies and has done work for companies like SAAB, GE Healtcare, Atlas Copco and Sandvik Coromant to name a few.
Upwis develops the iFleetsense system together with Pointguard and is also a co-financer of the Växjö pilot project.
Fohlins Fordonsmonteringar is a workshop based in Växjö, that has long experience from installing electronics and
roof equipment on taxis.
Fohlins will take care of the installation an on-site service of the iFleetsense devices during the pilot.
